Caesar Salad

There are a lot of salads available at the various food establishments at our office, but none has so far struck my fancy than Wendy’s Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad.

Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad – P109 (P114 with iced tea)

This is served straight out of the Wendy’s booth fridge and comes with a 1/4 cup of Caesar Salad dressing and a small packet of croutons. I love the cheap cheddar cheese bits and the (boiled) chicken cubes which are a tad dry but alright when coated in the dressing.

This has gotten me through many an all-nighter.

The salad, and its sauce, was reportedly invented by an Italian immigrant named Caesar Cardini who came up with it circa 1924 on a busy weekend.

Thank you, Mr. Cardini, if your claim is true. And Wendy too.
